Quest Diagnostics Woodland Hills

Lewis Ross Associates provided complete MEP engineering for Quest Diagnostics Auto Chemistry laboratory expansion. The project consisted of 12 automated analyzers, all supplied with purified water, and discharging to laboratory waste. The project was challenging due to its location in an existing building on the second floor. The HVAC was augmented with new air handlers to address waste heat from the analyzers. Lab sample analyzers, Laboratory waste, Purified water, UPS backup for uninterrupted operation, Connection to generator for extended power outages.

Caltech Steele Laboratory

Interior renovations for laser laboratory. Improvements included reconfiguration of mechanical systems and connection to base building hot and cold decks, ISO 7 cleanroom with terminal HEPA filtration, and laser operation annunciation.

Caltech Ledbetter Laboratory

Interior renovations for microbiology laboratory. Improvements included laboratory gas distribution, workbench connections, and mechanical reconfiguration for new equipment layout.
